Channel Auto-update Not Working

A changed PMT_PID is not updated with the correct PID from the PAT though 'Automatic Channel Data Update' is checked, resulting in broken recordings (see link). GE works alright...

A short test with DVBViewer Pro 3.6.1.20:

 

- Channel editor: Changed the PMT PID of "Das Erste" from 100 to 400 (PMT PID of arte on the same transponder).

 

- switched to "Das Erste"

 

- checked the PMT PID in the channel editor. Auto-corrected to 100, as it should be.

I can't reproduce your result. The wrong PMT_PID is permanent. I've not just done a short test but tested the update function with different hardware and different pro versions. Thereby I discovered that in the latest beta the checkbox "exclude from EPG" is active in the channel editor though it is not checked in the options.

 

ps.

after deleting the setup.xml and creating the settings anew, the update seems to be working. I don't know what the difference is in this special case. Both have the entry :

This was discovered 3 days ago in the beta thread, is confirmed, fixed and it's only a visual problem. The data is in the background is correct.

ok, apparently I've missed that. But it was for information only. Still don't know why autoupdate doesn't work with the old setup.xml.
