No audio with one TV station when playing back recorded MPG!

I upgraded my DVBViewer v3.5.0 to the latest version 3.9.10 last night. Today, I noticed one of my TV station (KTTV channel 11.1) over the air (OTA) does not play back audio from its recorded MPG files! Audio is fine with timeshift mode and from .ts files. I never had this problem with v3.5.0 before. Even more weird is that other stations don't seem to have this problem. It makes no sense.

 

I viewed one of my MPG recordings with SUPER program and it showed:

It seems like DVBViewer never recorded the audio even though I could hear it during recordings! I checked my DVBViewer's settings and they seem OK. I attached a screen shot of my DirectX settings in this post. I use AC3 v1.46 for audio stuff like in previous versions.

Weird!! I recorded Jay Leno rerun a few minutes ago in timeshift mode and I couldn't get its audio when replaying from its TS file after stopping a timeshift recording. This was in DVBViewer. I tried playing the same TS file with K-Lite Codec Full v3.5.7 Pack's Media Player Classic I will upload the file later.

 

I don't know why they are inconsistent! I might have to downgrade back to the old version if I can't get this resolved.

I am still NOT getting any audio from KTTV (channel 11.1) with .MPG recordings. I uploaded a new one from tonight's test: http://download.yousendit.com/261A717642DD84F4 (20.4 MB).

 

I found another channel with no audio in .MPG recording as well. It was on KCAL (channel 9.1): http://download.yousendit.com/33AE318976C727ED (10 MB).

 

Both channels had audios with .TS recordings. Weird! Any ideas? Both URLs will expire within 7 days.

 

 

P.S. All main channels/stations have audios in TS file formats. Just need to fix the two stations with no audio in MPG format.

We are working on it. It's caused by the AAC routines introduced in the last version. Until then please record as TS.

Thanks Lars_MQ. Any ETA on when the fix will be released even if it is a prerelease? I might go back to v3.5 because of this if not fixed by 1/2/2008.

I upgraded to v3.9.2.0 and it is fixed. Yay!
