Recording Service and DVBViewer

1.) You need a DVBViewer 4.1.1 (or newer) installation [For all Users (usermode=2)]. Please check that you receive alle channels.

 

2.) Then install the Recording Service 1.5 RC2 (or newer)

 

3.) Activate in the Recording Service options the DVBServer

4.) Look in ...\DVBViewer\Plugins if there is a svcctrl.dll, delete it

 

5.) Start the DVBViewer and go to Options > Hardware and set all TV cards to "don't use"

 

6.) Click on the + on this page and add for each card a unicast device. Set them all to normal and select the same tunertype as the real TV cards are (DVB-T,DVB-S ....). If the orginal card has a CI or is a DVB-S2 card set this for the unicast device as well. Then open the settings and select the DVBServer in the device options.

7.) Activate in the DVBViewer > Options > Recording Service the recording service support

8.) Enter the data for the Recording Service Webinterface and check with the Test button if they are correct

9.) Select the things you like to get in the DVBViewer from the recording service.
